Who is behind Second hand by Things | Things Concept Store?

It's me! Dominique! I'll introduce myself as precisely as possible.

My name is Dominique Iftekaralikhan and I was born on 14-05-1997 in Voorburg. I am not a city girl at all, but also not a farmer. Is there already a name for everything in between? That's me. I have been living on this side of the country for years. This side is currently Cuijk, Noord Brabant. I love good food, reading, trips and my cats Willem and Pieter. You might know me as the cat mother of Willem the shower cat (Tiktok @dominiqueiftekaralikhan ). You can always wake me up at night for sushi, but when the alarm goes off in the morning, I prefer to snooze for an hour. My favorite color is pink and my favorite clothing item is jeans. I love jeans-on-jeans. Lucky me, I read that this zero's trend is coming back all the time. Not that I care much about trends. I am an advocate of wearing what you feel comfortable in and not paying too much attention to others. I'm not a star in this yet. Since I've been very active on social media, I've also received hateful reactions on a regular basis. I can sometimes still lose sleep over this, but the next morning there's nothing wrong. At the moment, my favorite holiday destination is Portugal and I can't wait to go back there. The craziest fact about me is that for years I watched all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies every week. No, I wasn't a child anymore. This was still the case until 2 years ago. I'm 27 now.

Since September 2021, I run a shop in the center of Cuijk together with my dear colleague Willie. We are open 5 days a week and receive second-hand clothing every day. I have always had a preference for second-hand clothing. I will tell you more about this in the next blog.
